Dean says he's not going to remarry Dani because women only get one chance to throw him away. BUT can Dean live with his child being considered a bastard? Yeah, in today's society it doesn't seem to have the same stigma that it used to have, but family means everything to Dean.
*iz curious*

Kickass question. You're right - it doesn't mean what it used to but Dean has an old fashioned streak in him somewhere. And family does mean everything to him. So what it finally comes down to is, yes he moves back in with her and Charlie, but he just doesn't give a rat's ass what society thinks. He does think about the whole thing however briefly, but doesn't discuss it with Dani; and she doesn't bring it up. Sam-John's a Winchester no matter what and the legal/spiritual ritual of marriage doesn't hold enough weight with Dean or he'd have fought harder to keep the divorce from happening.
omg I think about these guys too much. XD
Such an awesome question.

Date: 2006-11-28 11:13 am (UTC)Do you think that there would ever be a time after Sam-John's birth when Dean would remarry Dani? When they had been together long enough or she had proven (like Sam once did) that she wasn't ever leaving him again?
And conversely, if he doesn't, even though he doesn't have a piece of paper would he consider himself married (in that he won't sleep around, etc.)
