Now that was what I call a trip. And I wasn't even stoned! Great snark. Funny and a little more. The image I can't get out of my head is Dean bowling the female vampire's severed head across the floor. I wouldn't have believed this would work if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Only you!
There were so many lines I loved I can't quote them all, I'd just be basically regurgitating the whole fic.
I'm a sucker for the outsider POV fics, and this was just the best ever, combining two of my favorite fandoms into one awesome meetup. And you kept BOTH casts of characters recognizable and fabulous. Squee!!!!
I'm always a little hesitant to read crossovers. But dude. This was awesome! Everyone was perfectly in character, it was full o' action, and the ending? Perfect. I have so much love for this.
Oh, yay! This was fun! I love crossovers. I love Scrubs (er, that one's entirely your fault because I only started watching Scrubs after your first Scrubs fic) and I love Supernatural. \o/
Hee. And I love that it was Doug who knows what to do and then hauls around decapitating heads and disposing of vamp bodies.
finished now. Squeeee again! Laughed and laughed, and worried for Sam, and poor Dean, watching over his brother. And Dr. Cox very wisely knowing that Dean is scary news. I loved it when Sam woke up, that slow slide in outsider perception from Sam as victim to Sam as scary dude too. And of course, the total crack. With angst. Yay!
Also, the vampires. Hee. JD and Turk as bounty hunters! And Doug knowing about Dead Man's Blood! Yeay! And concerned!Cox (which kinda sounds like a porn name, but hey...)
Oh yeah, I want to adopt this fic and raise it as my own.
I was reading this in the library and laughed out aloud at "Christo", much to the dismay of the librarian. Thank you for another fantastic fic. Have more crack!
Oh my god that may just be the most brilliant crossover EVER. I love, love, love outsider POV, and you managed to give some awesome insights into Sam and Dean here through that. I particularly love Dr. Cox's first little lecture to JD about Dean, and his knuckles, and a bullseye on his back, because YES.
I must now go stalk recon your journal, in the hopes of finding more delicious fic. :)
Now, who wouldn't want to read this after seeing the summary? *g* Such a brilliant crossover! I even recced it to a friend of mine, a Scrubs fan, and she loved it as well.
"Every floor tries to get info right from the source, rather than rely on the grapevine effect," JD said, moving for Jason to check his IV. "So that by the time somebody gets up here it doesn’t become something about dwarf-tossing in a vat of lime jello."
Ahaha!!! Wonderful dialogue! So spot on.
J.D., Cox, Sam and Dean, what a combo! Like I said, this is brilliant. *bookmarks*
I love this. You have no idea how much I love it. From Cox dubbing Sam William Tell to Dean saying Christo to one of Cox's rants and JD's voice (which you've absolutely nailed). I've got to say though, my favortie part was Doug and "Everybody knows dead man’s blood makes vampires sick".
I've still got a big old smile on my face. Thanks for such an awesome fic.
dude! was just messing around on your site and couldn't resist a scrubs/spn crossover. hee! you have no idea how happy it makes me that doug saved the day. and awwwww, dean loves his baby brother! and JD got a hug!
Hey - LOVED IT! Just started watching Scrubs recently and I can't tell you how much I love the idea of Dean and Cox going head to head like they did. Absolutely hysterical.
I'm not usually fond of crossovers, but this one worked beautifully.

Date: 2007-08-13 05:12 pm (UTC)Your characterization was amazing (as always) and it's always a treat to see the Winchester boys from an outsider's POV too.
A very welcome way to pass some time before new episodes.
