I just held my breath and broke a little piece at a time as you showed Dean dying from losing so much of who he is and Sam breaking from having to watch it, feel it, and finally asked to finish it. And then the denial and the way Sam grabbed at Dean to say no and could feel that there was so little of him there already. You write so beautifully and challenge me with the way you put words and images together. These are not dumb men and you create a world around them that is as brilliant as they are. As stark and shining and heartrending. You were my first real fic writer that I discovered when I came here, exploring what the fanfic world was about (diamondback pointed the way) and I haven't yet regretted reading one word of yours, ever.
