Total word count in the SPN universe since I first posted on 12/25/05: 242,558.
Writing is how I stay sane, good bad or indifferent, and it’s ridiculous to turn out that kind of word count and not post things to potentially amuse others. I can’t even begin to tell any of you how much I appreciate the fact that anybody likes what I post and is nice enough to give me feedback. Or friend me. Or read any of this stuff at all. I’m serious. This is not the ‘zomg im so humble ok’ bullshit portion of the post.
Things to come: (and this is more for my parking-convenience than to run in here yelling ‘ooh yay look everybody aren’t I special!’) I have stupid little handwritten notes all over the place and I’m sick of them. I need time to sit and write (or I’ll die) and when I do the following will come flying out of me in no particular order (but the first one is first):
*A ‘Second Sight’ tale for Maygra (started)
*Two codas to ‘Woven’(half done)
*The third wingfic tale (started) - following Three Point Landing and Four Wall Rule. Since it’s a series now and will be going through all 8 major Wiccan holidays, the series needs a name. Somebody help me come up with one, and no, I’m not calling it the 'Wingcest Cycle' even though I really want to.
*Week 4 in the Month of Open Doors
*Some ridiculous number of Salvation series things - Sam-John’s six month birthday is scarier than anyone expected; pre-series, Sam goes to get Dean after he bolts (mentioned in the first Salvation-series tale); a sequel to Marked that fits into the Salvation ‘verse with lots of grigori and grandstanding (because Immutable Law is not allowed in that verse, XD). How Dean and Danielle met. Dean teaching Sarah to shoot. A Sam-Sarah-Dean hunting tale. Allie stowing away on a hunt and finding out how dangerous her father, uncle and grandfather really are. Sam and Dean, finding a minor member of Azaz’el’s ‘family’ and post-Goat In The Darkness Dean taking things way too far. Oh, and one giant bastard of a tale that Maygra and myself are co-writing with the purposely ridiculous working title of ‘Bisquake’.
*Sam and Dean run into a cult of people who think the evils of the world have rights, and hunters are screwing up the balance. Dean thinks they’re just stupid and annoying right up until they douse Sam in gasoline and flick a Bic. After that, not so funny.
And of course I get bunnied all the time. If I’ve been fangirling for a year then I’m likely to go on fangirling for a very long time.
Sometime in April I’ll be running the same deal I did last year - you donate to charity, I write you whatever the hell you want. I have to give back to the world somehow, and that’s my favorite way.
