Just because you're family doesn't mean it always sticks; sometimes family has to be chosen.

Loving is always a choice, and not an easy one. Being related doesn't make it simple, that's for sure. For the one who decided to not be a part of you - it's a cliche but also so true that he has NO IDEA what he's missing out on, and if that was his choice, then he doesn't deserve you anyway.
